Abstract: 

Consumption of fast-food is highly prevalent in almost all parts of the world and does not spare any age, gender, racial or ethnic groups. In India, ‘fast foods’ is a growing problem because of the increasing Western influences in the food pattern. The present article throws light on the causes of fast food mania, its ill effects of health and measures to tackle the same.
