Abstract: 

Acute rheumatic fever is an autoimmune disease that occurs approximately 3 weeks after an untreated group A beta hemolytic streptococcal sore throat infection. Sydenham’s chorea is an enigmatic and may appear as an isolated manifestation or precede or accompany an acute attack associated with other criteria of the disease. Here we describe two cases of isolated chorea.
