removal of methylene blue dye from aqueous solutions by mosambi fruit peel activated carbon

This paper explains about the mosambi fruit peel activated carbon which adsorbs methylene blue dye from aqueous solutions. The physico – chemical key parameters such as dye concentration, PH, agitation time, adsorbent dosage has been determined in batch test methods. The equilibrium data obtained were tested using two adsorptions isotherm models, Langmuir and Frendlich adsorption models and two kinetic models – pseudo-first and second order models.
