Synthesis Of Substituted Β-Diketones And Study Of Their Antibacterial Activity

Some new substituted β-Diketones were synthesised by using 2-hydroxy acetophenones and different benzoic acids. These newly synthesised β-Diketones were characterised by IR and NMR spectra. β-Diketones were then screened for antibacterial activity against S.aureus, E. Coli and S.typhi.
