Abstract:

The over salinity in the soil is one of the main factors that limits the spread of plants in their natural habitats. The NaCl stress was found to significantly decline the growth parameters and the photosynthetic pigment with compared to control. This present study was conducted to investigate the effects of salt stress on different growth parameters, photosynthetic pigments and lipid per oxidation of the local cultivar of Tomato. The results showed that as the salt concentration increased all the parameters get decrease significantly.
