The present survey aimed to make an inventory of the species of linear timberings (quick hedges) in the region of Korhogo. It has for objective to make a state of the places and the efficiency of the linear devices in implementation in this region. It has been driven in several villages or existed devices of linear timbering and on the site of the research KAMONON Diabaté station. Several species (exotic and local) used for the realization of the quick hedges have been inventoried on the site of the research station. Among these, the spiny species are better the adapted and fight better against the raving of livestock. On the other hand, in the soil, the peasants opted for a new species to the profit of the other for the realization of their quick hedges. It is about the western Anacardium, even though it doesn't fight efficiently against the raving of livestock. The peasants prefer it because it is profitable to the point of economic view.
