This paper review and analyses issues relating to the uptake of dredging equipment in the river reclamation project. In India, there is limited utilization of dredging equipment in river reclamation which causes the delay in dredging or dredging demands is not fulfill in scheduled time. The selection of dredging equipment is the most important factor for river reclamation. It highlights the comparative analysis of cutter suction dredger’s in reclamation activities.
