Abstract:
The study is to find out the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Academic Achievements of Students by using Descriptive Survey method. Students belonging to 1st Semester streams of Arts and Science have been surveyed in Kamrup (Metropolitan) area of Assam. The various dimensions of Emotional Intelligence have been incorporated in the Questionnaire for studying the exact relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Academic Achievements based on Streams as well as gender. For analyzing the data, various statistical methods have been applied like Chi 2 , Z score and ANOVA
