Abstract:
20 cross bred cows not responded to mastitis treatment and developed fibrosis of udder were used in this study. Apart from two control cows, others were treated with Pendistrin SH intramammary infusion every 24 hours for a week and topical application of Mastilep gel twice daily for 10-15 days. 93% recovery in all the treated cows noticed from 10-15 days. 50% recovery and progression to udder abscess after 15 days noticed in each of the two control cows.
