Abstract: 

The present study attempts to investigate the effect of level of teaching and stream of teaching on the perception of teachers towards creativity. The study was conducted on a sample of 182 teachers of Aligarh district (Uttar Pradesh). Teachers’ perception towards creativity was assessed by employing a standardized scale constructed by the investigator. Parametric statistics as ‘t’ test for one sample, ANOVA have been employed to analyze the data and to draw out the results. The findings of the study reveal that teachers have higher level of awareness about creativity and positive attitude towards it. It was also found that teaching level and stream of teaching cause significant effect on the perception of teachers towards creativity.
