Docking And Invitro Anticancer Studies Of Some Novel Synthesized 4-Methyl Benzocoumarin 8-(N-Substituted) Sulfonamides

A series of 4-methyl benzocoumarin 8-(N-substituted) sulfonamides were designed, synthesized and evaluated for their in silo COX-2 inhibition and in-vitro anticancer activity. Compounds 7, 10, 14, 15, 18 have shown growth inhibition against MCF -7 cell lines. Docking simulations performed on COX-2 indicated compound 18 with hydrophobic key interactions that may govern enzyme[1]inhibitor binding.
