Sturm-Liouville Boundary Value Problems And Their Properties

In this paper we discuss the eigenvalue problems which are useful for solving the differential equations to a general class of boundary value problems that share as common set of properties. The Sturm-Liouville Problems define a class of eigenvalue problems, which include many special cases. We also discuss the relation between Strum-Liouville problems and self adjoint problems.
